Racers will need to fill in the the Covid Check In form on race and practice days before noon. You will need to sign in with your Westport account to access the form. If the form is not completed for the day, you will not be allowed to practice or race. If you have any questions, please contact Becca.
Our race season will officially kick off tomorrow- just a reminder that there are no spectators allowed at the hill due to the Covid restrictions.
Those racers who have filled in the sandwich form prior to Monday will have sandwiches for tomorrow’s race. If you have not, please do so by Thursday morning so that your order can be included.
Additionally, if you have not filled in the transportation form for tomorrow, please do so. If you do not, your name will not be included on the lineup for tomorrow’s race.
Captains are distributing the gs suits today through the dryland cohert groups. Please contact your captain to get your suit prior to tomorrow’s race.
Bus will be leaving from Staples at 3:15 and our race starts at 5 pm.

We are moving ahead with having time trials this afternoon, Wednesday January 20th. There is a bit of info that I need to share with everyone given the Covid protocols.
As of this post, I have some racers who have let me know that they will need to ride the bus. Those racers have been given an assigned seat and will be receiving an email with their seat number.
If you said you would not need the bus today, you have been sent a travel release form that will need to be emailed back to me by noon today.
Those who answered maybe, please let me know if you will be getting a ride to Southington today or not ASAP.
Locker drop off 7:45am You will need to place your gear into the locker yourself. DO NOT leave your things in the lobby.
BUS load in will start at 2:30 with the bus leaving at 2:45. We are expecting to be at Southington at 3:45 with time trials starting at 4 pm. Practice/trials will run till 5:30.
While we are not officially starting till next week, Southington will have gates available for anyone who would like to get some practice in before time trials.
High school students wishing to run gates on their own, may do so Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 3pm-6pm.
The cost is $39 and includes NASTAR timing. If you have a season pass the ticket is $10. Tickets may be purchased in the Group Sales and Racing office. Only one person inside the office at a time.
If you do not have a NASTAR number you must register, for free, at nastar.com. Your times will be posted on the mountain’s site. Please make sure to wear your mask and boot up in the car!
